Lately this summer, I have read some lovely books. One that stands out is “This Book Made Me Think of You,” by Libby Page.

The book resonated with me; it is about a woman named Tilly who loses her husband to cancer. While he was in the hospital, he put together for her a list of twelve books he wanted her to read after he was gone. Every month Tilly would go to the charming book store and pick up a book left by Joe, her deceased husband. I was so sad to finish it. It was a reminder for me, one that I carry daily, of the risk of loss we all run, in my case, losing my husband. I thank God for him. Remember, life is a precious commodity, and so are those you love. Treasure every second.
